 Split Face Gas Station
Realizing the vast advantages to building with block including superior fire protection and low maintenance, Sandpoint's Schweitzer/Sandcreek Conoco owners chose Pend Oreille Stone to erect their new convenience store at their gas station. After years in a timber frame building the owners looked at steel and masonry before finally choosing a split face khaki colored block to use for their structure. The mix of warm tones and practicality of masonry is proving a winning combination.
